2022 has been quite a year!
We put on two major ride events this year - both very successful!

Ride with Leinie with Dick Leinenkugel came to the Conover-Phelps Trail on July 30.
And on Sept. 10, the eighth annual SepTimber Ride offered 3 ride options between Tribute Brewing Co. in Eagle River and Three Lakes. All three rides started at Tribute and passed the Three Eagle Winery at their midpoint. Despite wet and chilly weather, a number of people rode. They and many more gathered back in Eagle River for a brat lunch with samples of Tribute's craft beers, and the traditional door prize and raffle drawings.
Both events provided participants with a great time in the Northwoods and will help GHT build more trails and help improve the trail that it has recently completed built, the Conover-Phelps Trail.
Keep your eye out for how to register for Ride with Leinie 2023 and SepTimber Ride IX!

Annual Meeting planned for this fall
Concerns about Covid led Great Headwaters Trails to skip public annual meetings in 2020 and 2021. We hope to change that in 2022, so watch for a posting about an annual meeting this fall.
Until then we'll put out e-newsletters (get the December 2021 newsletter) as well as press releases to inform the public of our trail progress.
Check out the rest of this website to learn about our officers and board members, the work of our hard working volunteers, our progress on developing trails in eastern Vilas County.

Our booth offers trail info, raffle tickets and us!
Our volunteers have staffed booths and displays in Eagle River, Conover and Phelps from spring through fall every year since 2010.
We always find that people enjoy talking about and learning about the fast-growing picture of biking opportunities in the Vilas area.
If you want to join our efforts and help inform folks of this exciting picture, shoot us an email at ghtinfo@ghtrails.org.
