Eagle River City Connector Bollard Removal for Upcoming Snow Season

On Thursday, October 22, 2026, staff from Tara Lila and volunteers from Great Headwaters Trails Foundation removed the bollards and chains in downtown Eagle River that make up the Eagle River City Connector, a bike path through downtown parking lots that provides a safe route for bikers from the Three Eagle Trail to the Railroad Depot. Each spring, the bollards are set up for bike use and then removed mid-October to clear the area for the snowmobile trail.
